This is a ground workshop only, no horses involved, just you, a rope, a fake steer, the instructor and a few of your new closest friends. These workshops are small (10 people or less) so that everyone gets lots of attention and coaching. You will learn how to handle a lariat, manage your coils, create a loop, swing, aim and throw. Additionally you will learn the parts of a lariat, which rope is best for the job and how to choose your first rope. By the end of this workshop you should be able to catch a roping dummy and be ready for the next workshop in our series. Cost is $50 per person, must be 12 years or older and accompanied by a participating adult, all attendees will be required to sign a liability release upon arrival, you must purchase your ticket to secure your spot, no refund, rain or shine.
